Keeping Hope Alive - Part 1
Test
"Hope deferred makes the heart sick..." - Proverbs 13:12 The definition of hope is "to cherish a desire with expectation of fulfillment." In 1 Peter we are told to set our hope wholly and unchangeably on the grace that comes to us when Jesus Christ is revealed. The reason we have hope is because Jesus destroyed the power of death hell and the grave; therefore when we lose hope the imminent by-product is despair. Hope is critical to our lives because without it we are always in fear and unable to press forward in relationships and circumstances. Hope becomes the power that causes us to prevail through whatever circumstance we may be facing. In this series the importance of keeping hope alive is revealed along with many ways we misplace our hope and how to break through the bondage of despair. You will also discover that hope is a vital part of who you are in Christ.
