Overcome by Speaking Faith Filled Words Part 2 of 5 of The Power of Faith Filled Words 3/1/09 _ Pastor King I Peter 3:10 _ For he who would love life and see good days let him refrain his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit. ? The good life begins with your words! ? You can?t talk down and be up. Proverbs 18:20-21 A man?s stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth; from the produce of his lips he shall be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue. ? Discover from the Word what is available to you and put that in your mouth. Speak those words only. ? Confidence is controlled by the words of your mouth. Believe that you are capable and turn up the confidence. Don?t be arrogant or obnoxious but walk in your God given authority. James 3:2 For we all stumble I many things. If anyone does not stumble in word he is a perfect (mature) man able also to bridle the whole body. ? Your body will respond to your mouth. ? The longer you say it the more powerful it is whether positive or negative. Psalm 103:20 _ Bless the Lord you His angels who excel in strength who do His word heeding the voice of His word. Isaiah 55:11 _ So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void but it shall accomplish what I please and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. ? God?s word returns to Him from our mouths. We have to speak His word. ? The angels are listening for you to speak the word of God so that they can go and bring it to pass. ? When we speak the word of God we are giving the angels their marching orders. If we speak contrary to the word of God then we are giving the fallen angels the power to bring the negative to fulfillment as well. Ephesians 3:8 To me who am less than the least of all the saints this grace was given that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ. ? The unsearchable riches of Christ _ Ephesians 1:16-23 _I do not cease to give thanks for you making mention of you in my prayers: that the God of my Lord Jesus Christ the Father of glory may give to me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. The eyes of my understanding being enlightened; that I may know what is the hope of His calling what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in me and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward me a believer according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at his right hand in the heavenly places far above all principality and power and might and dominion and every name that is named not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under his feet and gave Him to be head over all things to the church which is His body the fullness of Him who fills all in all. o Personalize the text. Pray for God to give you the spirit of wisdom. Make it apply to you. o Christ is seated far above all principality and all things are under His feet. We are His body. That means that we are above all principality and everything is under our feet! o ?fills all in all? should be translated ?fulfills all the promises in all of the saints? II Peter 1:12 For this reason I will not be negligent to remind you always of these things though you know and are established in the present truth.
