I Samuel 15:22 For to obey is better than sacrifice Be ready to meet the Lord and enjoy the trip until you get there. One thing you must do to see a long good life is to ?refrain your tongue from speaking evil?. Proverbs 18:20-21 Wise words satisfy like a good meal; the right words bring satisfaction. The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences. ? Belly =your internal being ? Heart=the core of who you are ? Satisfied=full overflowing satiated like a sponge so full of water that it is dripping. ? You are planting a garden with your tongue. You can?t receive more than what you say. James 3:2-4 Indeed we all make many mistakes. For if we could control our tongues we would be perfect and could also control ourselves in every other way. We can make a large horse go wherever we want by means of a small bit in its mouth. And a small rudder makes a huge ship turn wherever the pilot chooses to go even though the winds are strong. ? Tongue=bit in horses mouth ships rudder. it will set the course for your life. it is what sets the events of your life in motion. 5 Things Your Words Will Do For You Matthew 6:24-27 31 ?No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. ?That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life?whether you have enough food and drink or enough clothes to wear. Isn?t life more than food and your body more than clothing? Look at the birds. They don?t plant or harvest or store food in barns for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren?t you far more valuable to him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? Vs 31 ?So don?t worry about these things saying ?What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?? ? Your words will control your attitude because they also control your thoughts. You don?t take the thought until you say it. Be led by the Spirit instead of impulsively blurting things out. Say ?NO! I?m not going to allow this!? Play down agitation because thoughts come and go. Numbers 14:1 And all the congregation lifted up their voice and cried; and the people wept that night. ? Your words will charge the atmosphere around you either positively or negatively. ? Read the story of the 12 spies. 10 returned with an evil report. ? Go into a room where an argument has just taken place and you can feel the tension. Go into a room full of laughter and feel the joy. Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you That whosoever shall say unto this mountain Be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. ? Faith filled words will be in opposition against your problems and challenges ? You have to SAY. God won?t go if you don?t speak His Word. ? It?s not what you hear but what you say. We tend to talk about the problems instead of talking TO the problems. Psalm 103:20 Bless the LORD ye his angels that excel in strength that do his commandments hearkening unto the voice of his word. ? When your words are inline with scripture you loose the angels to perform the Word of God. ? Your words give the angels their assignments whether to work on your behalf or to do nothing. it is dependant on what you say. Psalm 45:1 My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer. ? Your words are writing your future. Say what you want to happen.
