Pastor approves Sunday’s message for bookstore and web with no edits. He may consider televising; however, he would want to edit out the section where he turns the message toward himself—comparing himself with “pastor jim,” telling the congregation what type of pastor he is, etc. He would like to know if that was an isolated segment that could be cut out without sacrificing the message (he feels the 6 stages of a relationship that he discussed is important to leave in). In other words, if it is an easy cut and not complicated, he would consider televising. If you guys could give me your thoughts on this when you’ve had a chance to look at it, I’ll pass it along to him. Update: Pastor does NOT want to televise.
