?You shall love your neighbor as yourself?. Matthew 22:39 That?s right you?re supposed to love yourself! Too many times we look in the mirror and don?t like what we see a new wrinkle another gray hair or even that we are too tall too short etc etc. The list goes on and on but what does God say? He said that He created us in the image and likeness of Himself. If we can?t love ourselves then it?s difficult to love others. Loving yourself doesn?t mean that you are arrogant but that you simply appreciate the unique personality talents and characteristics that the Lord placed in you. He placed them there so that you can reach your destiny in Him and be all that He created you to be.
