The pastor is committed to prayer. ? The leaders lead by prayer. ? The members take prayer seriously both personally & corporately. ? Intentional integration into church life ? Regular gathering for prayer ? Prayer requires praise. Praise eulogizes God for what He has done. Acts 2:46-47 - Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. Luke 24:53 - And they stayed continually at the temple praising God. Acts 13:1-2 - In the church at Antioch there were prophets and teachers: Barnabas Simeon called Niger Lucius of Cyrene Manaen (who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch) and Saul. While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting the Holy Spirit said "Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them." Ephesians 5:15-18 - Be very careful then how you live?not as unwise but as wise making the most of every opportunity because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish but understand what the Lord's will is. Do not get drunk on wine which leads to debauchery. Instead be filled with the Spirit.
