WED Part 3 in Reverse the Curse Series Galatians 3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree." ? Sickness is a curse! ? Jesus took the curse so that we can have blessings. He bought back the blessings. You don?t have to accept what the devil tries to bring into your life. Keep the Bible before you lest you let it slip. Everyday feed on faith and healing because that is where we live. I Peter 2:24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed. Galatians 3:14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit. Isaiah 53:4-5 Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows yet we considered him stricken by God smitten by him and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him and by his wounds we are healed. Matthew 19:14 But Jesus said Suffer little children and forbid them not to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. ? Come to Jesus as a little child. ? Don?t over analyze. See yourself through the Word. ? Rightly divide the Word of truth. Let every word be established by 2 or more witnesses. ? God uses doctors today but HE IS THE HEALER! Genesis 11:31 One day Terah took his son Abram his daughter-in-law Sarai (his son Abram?s wife) and his grandson Lot (his son Haran?s child) and moved away from Ur of the Chaldeans. He was headed for the land of Canaan but they stopped at Haran and settled there. ? Terah = delay. ? As long as Abraham stayed with his family he was delayed. He had to separate himself from the delay. ? God said ?You?ve been delayed in a place where there is occult worship. Haran = dry and parched no move of the spirit. ? God had to get Abraham away from this mindset. Genesis 12:1 The LORD had said to Abram ?Leave your native country your relatives and your father?s family and go to the land that I will show you. ? The Lord had said. Now that Terah had died the delay was removed. Now Abraham had to obey what God had said. ? You have to obey and be what He said in order to receive the blessings. ? Continue to grow and mature. Genesis 12:2-3 I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous and you will be a blessing to others. I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt. All the families on earth will be blessed through you.? ? He is the One that gives us the name and the blessings. ? Get out of the rut of doubt and unbelief and get into to the Word of God and experience Him for Who He really is. o Separate from family & friends that are not what you need. o Separate from things that you are relying on or that are pulling you away. o He had to be shown his destiny. He had to turn his back on the curse and walk into the blessing. He will take you to a different destination to show you something about yourself and He will make you what He wants you to be. o You will have to go through tough times & during those times the devil will try to do things to you but you will have a toughness & strength to you and it will be uncomfortable. o Beware of being too comfortable. He will take you out of your comfort zone. Genesis 12:2 AMP And I will make of you a great nation and I will bless you [with abundant increase of favors] and make your name famous and distinguished and you will be a blessing [dispensing good to others]. o He will turn you into a blessing. o We are redeemed from the curse so that we can step into the blessing.
