So distraught, so disappointed, so worried, so anxious, so tormented internally were Mary & Martha when they thought that Lazarus was dead and there was no hope. But just in a matter of hours, a very short time the resurrection came on the scene and life was restored. And the disappointment and that distraught and anxious feeling left and disappeared. For so it is with some of you, and so it is in days gone by and so it even shall be in days ahead. But even at this very moment there’s that anxiety that’s attached to loss. There’s that disappointment and regret that comes from things that you think will never be restored. But you have not taken into account the resurrection; you’ve not taken into account that I am the way, the truth and the life. You’ve not taken into account that prayer and believing and standing will bring my presence into a dark place, into a place that’s been hidden from your view. For the things that have been lost are not lost forever, the things that seemingly will never come again. Do you not remember Moses? Do you not remember that he had been called and anointed and put in a place of position and education, lived in the palace and then was exiled to the back of the desert? Then a burning bush came, and all that was seemingly lost forever to never be restored again was suddenly brought back to life. And the resurrection, and the new life and the new beginning, the new start, all that was lost was not lost at all. All that looked like was hopeless waste of time had suddenly come into focus and prepared him for the hour he was to stand in. And so it is with you, sayeth the Lord. It is not lost, it is not over, it is not finished. You’re not too old, you’re not over the hill, it’s not too late. Lost opportunities are not lost forever. For I am the resurrection and I am moving in your life in resurrection life, and I’m coming to you in a fresh and a new way, sayeth the Lord. So hang not your head, strengthen the feeble knees, stand erect and stand upright for that that seemingly was lost has been restored again. For resurrection life is coming into your life and it’s a time of restoration of lost dreams, lost relationships, lost hope, lost vigor, so-called lost youth. It is a time of resurrection. So this coming year is a year of resurrection life in your life, sayeth the Lord.

When my knees were weak and I felt like I would fail, the Lord strengthened me. In the midnight hour when tears rolled down, I looked to the Lord and He brought me His strength. When it looked like I couldn’t go on, He brought me through, He brought me out and He brought me to the other side. And I began to see that failure is not final because the Lord God Almighty, the Omnipotent, He reigns. And He reigns through His people. And He reigns in this world. When the darkness closes in, when the darkness closes in…His light floods the place, His light floods the place. When the darkness moves in His light floods the place. It is not a day to look down, it’s a day to lift your head, look to Him, your salvation draws nigh, redemption draws nigh, lift your head, lift your head.

Sometimes the things that seem to be such a waste, and even though it was not ordained by Me or did it come from Me, sayeth the Lord, sometimes you’re the victim of circumstance, sometimes you’re the victim of another person’s bad choices and bad decisions. But I do not hold that against you. Nor do I entrap you or enslave you in the past and in broken relationships, and sometimes broken marriages, even broken careers and bankruptcies, and all sorts of things that have gone on in bad and negative ways. Even though I did not bring that to you, sayeth the Lord, I will use that. And as you surrender it to Me it will be a building block, it will be a stone to step into your future. So worry and fret not and act not as if because of that I can go no further. But know this, that even because of that you shall fly higher still. Even more than you would have without that happening because it gives you platform for ministry, it gives you platform of wisdom and it gives you a basis of understanding. Even though I did not bring it, I will use it. For again I say unto you I am the God of resurrection life and I make beauty from the ashes. And so it shall be with you. Nothing, not time, not relationships, not effort, nothing is wasted, sayeth the Lord.
